I love perusing magazine racks for editorials I love and new ones I’ve never seen… I recently picked up Disfunkshion because it just looked fun. And it is.

You know those collages all high school girls create and post on their walls… yeah well, I never did that because I wanted to keep all of my magazines in mint condition. I realize this is odd and speaks volumes about several issues of mine. Sorry, I digress… This magazine is fun to flip through because it resembles all those fun collages that I was supposed to create, both as a high school girl and a future designer (I just didn’t know about the designer part yet).

They have lots of cool bloggers as contributors and check out the fun photo editing….

Through “words of wisdom” and different forms of art, including photography and graphic design, this magazine aims to motivate young women to proudly be themselves. They also have a blog featuring tips on really important stuff, like the perfect messy bun.
